These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of Brainiax Puzzles (“Brainiax: Logic and Word Puzzles”, “Brainiax”, “the App”), provided by Brainiax Developers.
By downloading, accessing, or using Brainiax, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable consumer or data-protection law.
Brainiax is a puzzle application that provides logic and word puzzles, locally generated or bundled puzzle content, Daily Challenges, saved progress, statistics, optional cloud-supported account features, leaderboards, social features where available, and advertising or rewarded features where enabled.
Brainiax is designed to be offline-first. Some features require or benefit from an internet connection, Google Firebase services, Google authentication, or advertising services.
Features may differ by device, app version, country, age-treatment category, release channel, or configuration.
Brainiax is designed for teens and adults and is not primarily directed to young children.
If you are under the age at which you may independently agree to these Terms or consent to relevant data processing in your location, you may use Brainiax only with the involvement or permission of a parent or legal guardian where required by law.
Brainiax may apply age-appropriate restrictions to advertising and other features.
Subject to these Terms, Brainiax Developers grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use Brainiax on devices you own or control for personal, non-commercial use, subject to the applicable app-store rules.
You may not, except where applicable law expressly permits you to do so:
Brainiax may create an anonymous Firebase identity so cloud-supported features can operate without requiring a traditional account registration flow.
You may optionally link or sign in with Google where that feature is available.
You are responsible for maintaining control of the Google account, device, or other credentials used to access your Brainiax account. Do not attempt to access another user’s account or impersonate another person.
Cloud-supported account features are optional to core puzzle play. Network, authentication, or sync failures may temporarily prevent cloud features even when local gameplay remains available.
Brainiax may assign a pseudonymous Player ID and may provide optional username, lookup, friend-request, or friendship features.
If you choose a public username or otherwise submit user-visible text, you must not use content that is unlawful, threatening, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, deceptive, impersonating, infringing, or reasonably likely to harm other users or the service.
Brainiax Developers may restrict, rename, remove, or refuse user-visible identifiers or access to social features when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, comply with law, address abuse, or protect users and the service.
Brainiax puzzles may be generated deterministically on-device, generated from local assets, or otherwise assembled by the App.
Puzzle difficulty, generation time, hint behavior, and available puzzle types may vary by release and device. Although Brainiax is designed and tested for valid puzzle behavior, no software system can be guaranteed to be completely free of bugs, generation failures, or data loss.
Saved local progress may be removed if you uninstall the App, clear App storage, change devices without compatible sync, or if stored data becomes incompatible with a later version.
Brainiax may provide Daily and weekly leaderboards for eligible Daily Challenge results.
Leaderboard rules may include requirements such as:
Leaderboard score is generally based on eligible completion time, with lower times ranking ahead where the current product rules specify this.
Leaderboards are intended as casual competition. Brainiax may reject, remove, ignore, or invalidate leaderboard data that appears corrupted, manipulated, impossible, abusive, or inconsistent with the current rules.
Serious competitive anti-cheat is not promised. Leaderboard availability, retention, ranking scope, and eligibility rules may change as the product evolves.
Brainiax may display banner, rewarded, or interstitial advertising where enabled and permitted.
Rewarded features are optional. A reward is granted only when the App receives the required confirmation from the advertising flow. An unavailable, failed, cancelled, or incomplete ad does not create an entitlement to a reward unless Brainiax explicitly states otherwise.
Advertising availability, format, frequency, and eligibility may change through app updates or remote configuration. Brainiax may disable advertising or rewarded features at any time, including for technical, legal, policy, age-treatment, consent, or user-experience reasons.
Third-party advertisements are provided by third parties. Brainiax Developers does not endorse every advertised product or service and is not responsible for third-party offers, sites, purchases, or representations outside the Brainiax service.
Your use of Brainiax is also governed by the Brainiax Puzzles Privacy Policy, which explains how information is processed, shared, retained, and deleted.
Where advertising privacy options are required and available, the App may provide a Privacy Choices control.
You may request deletion of your Brainiax account and associated Brainiax cloud data using the in-app account-deletion control or the external process described on the Account & Cloud Data Deletion page.
Deletion is permanent. Local data remaining on a device may need to be removed separately by clearing App storage or uninstalling the App.
Brainiax and its original software, visual design, branding, documentation, original text, and other proprietary materials are owned by Brainiax Developers or used under applicable licenses.
Certain software libraries, dictionaries, platform services, fonts, data sources, or other components may be provided under third-party licenses. Those components remain subject to their respective license terms.
No ownership rights are transferred to you except for the limited license to use the App granted by these Terms.
Brainiax relies on third-party platforms and services, including Google Play and Google/Firebase services, and may use GitHub Pages for public website hosting.
Your use of those third-party services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. Brainiax Developers is not responsible for third-party services outside its reasonable control, including outages, policy changes, account actions, advertising content, or service discontinuation.
You must not use Brainiax to:
Brainiax Developers may update, modify, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary for product development, security, legal compliance, platform requirements, service-provider changes, or technical reasons.
We may restrict or suspend access to online or account-backed features when reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, protect users, protect the service, comply with law, or enforce these Terms.
Where practical, material changes that significantly affect users may be communicated through the App, website, store listing, or another appropriate channel.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The Last updated date will be revised when changes are published.
If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we may provide additional notice where required by law. Continuing to use Brainiax after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Brainiax is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

These disclaimers do not exclude warranties or protections that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Brainiax Developers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to use of Brainiax, including loss of data, loss of progress, loss of opportunity, or third-party service failures.
Where liability cannot legally be excluded, it is limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer rights where applicable.
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Mandatory consumer-protection, privacy, and other statutory rights in your place of residence continue to apply where they cannot lawfully be waived.
Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled by a court or authority with competent jurisdiction under applicable law.
Before starting formal proceedings, you are encouraged to contact us so we have a reasonable opportunity to address the issue.
